Kristi's nose = 0__0;;;!
Jan. 17th, 2011 10:20 pmSo, today I was introduced to a nasal telescope at the ENT office.
Oh yes, there are nasal TELESCOPES, as in a long tube with a light at the end that goes into your nose...I'm talking at least pencil length into your nose.
I had a nasal endoscopy and my brain had a moment of, "Huh...wonder where that's going to go...?"
Prior to that he squirted stuff up my nose, then put in thelong glowy tubey thing nasal telescope.
Apparently I have a slightly deviated septum, nothing to worry about but makes sense with why my sinuses get messed up sometimes. It seems that when the weather shifts, it causes a reaction to the nerve that runs along the sinuses, which in turn causes mucus production and the nerve & vessels get constricted. I think my next journey may be to a neurologist where I'm sure they get the weather/barometer sensitive folks as well.
I also saw my lady doctor today and she recommended Stresstabs with Zinc, along with a PMS Protocol. I'll have to let ya'll know if it works well. ^__~
