My day started with a visit to the doctor's office for a physical. According to their records I hadn't had one since 2004 (oops). I coupled this with an asthma followup exam. I got into the room within minutes of arriving, had my blood pressure taken (those electronic ones hurt every time!), and got into the paper gown (seriously, you can't sit comfortably in that thing). The doctor went through the usual stuff you do for physicals (ears, eyes, nose, reflexes, stethoscope).
.
Then the asthma followup portion with the breath test thingy. I don't remember the name of the test, but I always suck at it (or maybe I blow at it...erm, never mind). So, the nurse had me do the breathing thingy and I maintained my title of Captain of the Fail!Boat. I got an albuterol treatment, where you breathe into a machine for 7 minutes. In my defense, my sinuses were draining that day. But I did breathe better once they did the test again. The thing they don't tell you about the breathing treatment is that you might drool. ^^;;; Once I got the hang of it, I didn't drool and had fun puffing out the mist. I may or may not have hummed Puff the Magic Dragon. And no, no one was in the room with me, so I had to entertain myself somehow!

After that I got a tetanus shot. -_- My arm hurts. I remembered that this was the shot that makes your arm hurt for a few days, so I had them get my left arm. I've still got to make an appointment to get bloodwork done, soooo not looking to that needle.

I met my mom for lunch and then I headed to the dentist (I know, doctor then dentist, I'm a glutton for punishment). I went to Aspen Dental because they're close to the apartment. The office is really nice, like I'm talking your dental chair had a mini flat screen TV with satellite nice. 0___0 (I watched Destination Truth).

However, I have a new nemesis...the x-ray machine. -_- Or rather the thing they put in your mouth that you have to bite down on. Apparently I have a small mouth and my jaw doesn't open wide, so I ended up getting cut under the tongue by the damn equipment. It also took two people to get it to stay in the same position since my tongue apparently has a mind of its own.

They managed to get the x-rays done and then my dentist (Dr. Gandhi....hee) examined me. I need two fillings (which I figured since last time I went to the dentist they were keeping an eye on those areas) and I scheduled a cleaning. One of the areas where I need a filling is covered by insurance and the other one is not...isn't that screwed up?

Next doctor's appointment coming up for the weekend...DUN DUN DUN...the lady doctor. Gals know what I mean.
